In July 2021 one of Europe\u2019s most famous streets, the tree-lined Paseo del Prado in the capital Madrid, has been added to the Unesco World Heritage list \u2013 along with the adjoining Retiro Park as \u201cLandscape of Art and Science\u201d.
\nMadrid enjoys a privileged location in the center of Spain. From the capital you can visit some of the most beautiful cities in the country, which UNESCO has listed as a World Heritage Sites. The most prominent are Toledo, Aranjuez, El Escorial, Alcala de Henares, Avila and Segovia.
